1980~1984年:东北大学材料系金属材料专业,本科生。
1984~1987年:东北大学研究生院,硕士研究生
1987:大连交通大学材料科学与工程学院工作。
1997~2000年:中国科学院金属研究所,博士研究生。
2005年:任轨道交通关键材料研究所所长和辽宁省轨道交通关键材料重点实验室主任。
2010年:任材料科学与工程学院院长、校理化分析测试中心主任
 
进修及访学经历 
2002~2003:北京语言大学学习德语。
2003~2004年:德国马普学会金属研究所,访问学者。
200611月:法国Alstom公司,动车组生产与组装技术进修。
2008~2009年:英国牛津大学,高级访问学者。
